Women and the God who Sees

Those are some of the words women have used in conversations about their treatment in the church. We want to pursue our purpose and use our gifts and talents for God, but we may be afraid to speak out or step out because of what we’ve been taught about women’s roles in the church. We want to know what the Bible really says about women and women’s rights.

I speak and write books, blogs, and Bible studies about Jesus, justice, and women. My life’s work has been serving victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, trafficking, and women who need encouragement, understanding, and hope in their faith life. I understand the need to feel seen and loved.

I help women understand and embrace the truth that:

  • God loves us with an everlasting love

  • Jesus values and honors us

  • Scripture affirms us as leaders

  • God doesn’t limit our “roles”

SEEN: A study of five Biblical women who were deceived, raped, and disregarded yet seen by God

Freedom in Knowing
What the Bible Says

There is freedom in knowing and understanding what the Bible says about women. When you have the Biblical knowledge, you can speak confidently and with authority about our freedom to pursue our purpose and calling, using the gifts and talents God gave us, regardless of what that may be.

As an attorney, I don’t mince words. You’ve got hard questions and want answers, not fluff. I tackle tough questions and issues such as:

  • women’s roles in the church

  • Biblical women who were raped, deceived, and oppressed

  • Women of the Bible who were leaders, prophets, apostles, preachers, evangelists, and other women leaders

  • justice in the Bible and the Christian response to justice
